Midwest Mama Melle Richardson lives in Missouri with her three sons Hunter, 15, Dane ,10, and Gavin ,7. Originally from California (the state that is!) Melle has lived in the midwest for the past 10 years. Melle is currently perfecting being Fabulous at Forty.

Her first novel, Eye of the Hurricane, received wide acclaim and earned J.Q. several prestigious awards. Since that time, J.Q. has penned nearly a dozen novels and historical hardcover books.

J.Q. is now working on her first screenplay which is due to be completed early next year. "J.Q.'s love of storytelling is infectious", said one loyal reader at a recent book signing, "Once you read one, you have to read all of her books".
